"Israelism" Documentary Screening & Discussion
Over 150 days of Israeli aggression on Gaza have opened the eyes of millions around the world on the nature of the Israeli colonial project. Jews are no exception. In fact, the recent brutal Israeli aggression has mobilized thousands of jews around the world to speak against Zionism.
The movie "Israelism" (2023) exhibits the story of two young American Jews who were "raised to unconditionally love Israel", until they come to realization of the systematic brutality of the state of Israel. When they realize the cost the Palestinians pay, their lives take sharp left turns.
"The two join a movement of young American Jews battling the old guard to redefine Judaism's relationship with Israel, revealing a deepening generational divide over modern Jewish identity."
