Imminent is the primary project of prolific Belgian musician and sound artist Olivier Moreau. Originally known as Imminent Starvation, the project emerged in the early 1990s, establishing itself as a cornerstone of extreme electronic music, particularly within the "power noise" genre. Defined by relentless, technoid rhythms and jagged, distorted electronic noise, Imminent's sound seamlessly fuses with cold, eerie atmospheres, adding a macabre depth to its compositions. Grim Machine is an amalgam of free improvisation, harsh noise energy, and sound manipulation techniques. It experiments with narrative, spontaneity, and impromptu synthesis to evoke a ritualistic experience of reality, while commenting on cultural consumerism and the fetishization of technology. H.C.N. is a power electronics/death industrial multimedia unit based in Athens, Greece. Active since 2017, the project is closely tied to the E.C.T. label and explores raw, aggressive soundscapes within the industrial underground. Mai 12 is a harsh noise project that began in Greece in October 2017 and is affiliated with Ирен Попова / Iren Popova, an experimental drone/noise project that launched in December 2017. Both projects delve into the darker realms of sound, with Mai 12 focusing on harsh, unrelenting textures and Ирен Попова exploring atmospheric, minimalist, and introspective elements. Finally, Veil for the Baptist, the voice of one crying in the wilderness, echoes from Bethabara with a ferocious, noisy HxC industrial set.

Support D.I.Y. Community

Deep within the heart of the DIY music scene, a vibrant force pulses, nurturing awareness, shaping convictions, and staunchly resisting any attempts to stifle its vitality. Through self-organization and collaboration within this community, we endeavor to deconstruct the prevailing organizer-spectator paradigm that governs profit-driven commercial entertainment spaces. Instead, we seize control by curating and orchestrating our own performances.

We eschew the concept of passive consumption and, in its place, cultivate an environment where all are encouraged to actively partake, contribute, and immerse themselves in the music and the community it fosters. Central to this ethos is the promotion of anti-commercialism, a principle to which we remain steadfastly committed. Despite the various expenses involved, we unwaveringly uphold the tradition of providing a contribution box at the entrance of our events, allowing attendees to give what they can, thus ensuring that financial constraints never become a barrier to participation.

To enable these endeavors and bring our ongoing projects to fruition, we rely on your invaluable financial support. Your contributions will directly bolster initiatives such as the upkeep of our sound system and the enhancement of our event space, among others. In extending your financial support, you become an integral cog in this endeavor, championing the values of creativity and grassroots collaboration. Together, we forge a vibrant and inclusive D.I.Y. music community that exalts the potency of collective expression.

To ensure that all individuals who interact with us feel safe and comfortable, we operate under a no-tolerance policy against any form of discrimination, including but not limited to racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and ableism. If you experience discomfort or come across any behavior that is reproachable, please contact an organizer as promptly as possible.
